A key legislative responsibility that Pastoralists may encounter is Incident reporting
Under the Work Health and Safety (National Uniform Legislation) Act, it is a requirement to notify NT WorkSafe if certain incidents occur at the workplace.
These notifiable incidents include:
- a dangerous incident
- a serious injury or illness of the person, or
- a death of a person
'Notifiable Incidents' are defined within the Work health and safety - Incident notification Bulletin pages 2-6
