It is with sadness that the NTCA advise of the passing of NTCA Life Member and long-time Territory pastoralist Mr Ross Mortimer.  Ross passed away on the 1st October, aged 87 years.

Ross was awarded with NTCA Life Membership in 1992 after more than 30 years in the NT pastoral industry as owner of Brunchilly Station on the Barkly Tablelands.  Ross was also heavily involved with industry matters, and contributed significantly to the NTCA as Chair of Barkly Branch and the NTCA’s Cattle Council Representative.

A funeral mass was held on 10th October at St Saviour’s Church in Glen Osmond, South Australia.  The NTCA passes its condolences to Ross’s wife Gillian and their family.
