What is AAA Farmbis?
AAA FarmBis contributes to the development of prosperous Primary Industries and sustainable management of natural resources and land.FarmBis provides assistance to attend eligible management training activities. The Scheme is jointly funded by the Australian and the NT Governments and is administered by the NT Department of Primary Industry, Fisheries & Mines.
Who is eligible?
Primary Producer: A person who spends the majority proportion of labour and derives the majority of income from a farming or fishing enterprise and owns/operates or manages a primary production business enterprise as determined by the Australian Tax Office.Land Manager: A land manager or an entity with custodial and/or stewardship responsibility for the sustainable management of the natural resource management of a land holding 10 hectares or greater.
AAA Farmbis Objectives:
- To improve awareness of and increase the participation in FarmBis programs.
- To encourage a culture of continuous business improvement through training opportunities.
- To foster industry commitment to the development of NT training capacity.
- To ensure effective and efficient management of FarmBis program.

The training must be recognised as a requirement to improve the management skills and knowledge of the applicant. Primary Producers are eligible for all training.
Land Managers are eligible for natural resource management training. |
