2007/20068 State and Territory LANDCARE AWARDS

The Natural Resource Management Board (NT) Inc.  and Landcare Australia are strongly encouraging individuals and groups involved in community landcare, particularly those who have received Natural Heritage Trust funding, to nominate. 

The Landcare Awards are a prestigious event that recognises the efforts of individuals, community groups, Indigenous communities and organisations Territory wide for their efforts in sustainable natural resource management and environmental management.

The Landcare Awards are a great chance to highlight the hard work and dedication of those working to protect the Territory’s precious natural resources. Winners from each category will receive Territory wide recognition, a trophy and a cash prize of $1000. 

Winners, excluding the local category award winner, also automatically go on to become finalists in the 2008 National Landcare Awards, to be held in Canberra. 

Finalists will nominate two representatives to be flown to Canberra to attend the gala dinner and ceremony, and the national winners will receive a further cash prize of $1000.
