Advancing Agriculture Fund (AgFund)

AgFund is a grants programme to help primary producers in the agricultural, fisheries and forestry sectors manage change and improve profitability. The Australian Government will provide matching funding of up to $50,000 to successful applicants to carry out projects that tackle industry issues at the local level.

AgFund is part of the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry’s new Advancing Agricultural Industries Programme.

Eligibility

Local producer groups and groups of producers are eligible for AgFund. A number of producer groups can also apply together, including various commodity groups who join together to tackle a common issue. Applicants must be legal entities (other than an individual). Applicant groups who are not legal entities must nominate a project sponsor on their behalf.

AgFund projects must be completed within one year. For more information visit the website.
