25th Annual Industry Conference and Annual General Meeting

Our 2009 conference focussed on future issues, challenges, and opportunities. The NTCA Conference is attended by producers, agribusiness and industry leaders from the Northern Territory, Australia and overseas.

Over its 25 years the NTCA has been strong, vibrant and vocal in lobbying for the rights of its members, from small family
operations to large corporates, we currently represent over 95% of the NT cattle herd.

The NTCA is a driving force for continual improvement and adaptation, building a vibrant and prosperous future for our
generations to come.

Managing more than 44% of the NT landmass, our industry is the third largest GDP earner, successfully running in excess of 2 million cattle, turning off over 500,000 animals, across live export and slaughter for local and overseas markets. By area, employment and economic contribution, the pastoral industry is the dominant land based industry in the NT.
